Gulet Charter Prices in Turkey: A 2026 Guide from Fethiye, Gocek, Bodrum and Marmaris

People ask me this question more than any other: how much does a gulet charter actually cost?
I have been answering it since 1995. We operate from Fethiye, Gocek, Bodrum, and Marmaris — four of the finest departure points on the Turkish coast. After three decades on this coastline, I can tell you exactly what the price depends on, and what you should realistically expect to pay in 2026.
This is not a brochure. It is what I would tell a friend sitting across the table.
The Short Answer
Gulet charter prices in Turkey for 2026 range from 5,000 EUR to 80,000 EUR per week, fully crewed and full board included.
That is a wide range, and it needs explaining. A 4-cabin traditional gulet for 8 guests anchoring in the sheltered bays of Gocek sits at the lower end. A flagship luxury motor yacht carrying 16 guests across the Turkish and Greek coastlines sits at the upper end. Both are genuine charter experiences. They are simply different ones.
Most families and groups of 8 to 12 people end up somewhere between 10,000 and 30,000 EUR per week, depending on the vessel, departure port, and time of season.
Why the Price Varies So Much
Four things determine where your charter falls within that range.
The vessel. A gulet built in the 1990s with basic cabins costs a fraction of what we charge for a vessel launched in 2023 with teak interiors, watermakers, and stabilisers. Both float. Only one of them feels like a genuine escape. Our Albatros Explorer, built in our own Fethiye shipyard and delivered in 2023, sits at the higher end of our fleet. Our classic wooden gulets offer the same crew quality and the same Blue Cruise experience at a more accessible price point.
Full charter or cabin charter. A full charter means your group has the entire vessel — you choose the route, the pace, and who comes on board. A cabin charter means you book individual cabins on a shared gulet following a fixed weekly route. Per-person cabin charter prices in 2026 typically run from 650 to 1,450 EUR per week depending on season, full board included. For larger groups of 8 or more, a full charter almost always makes more financial and practical sense.
The season. Turkey’s charter season runs from May to October across all departure ports. July and August are peak weeks: prices are 30 to 40 percent higher than June or September, and the most popular anchorages are busier. June and September give you the same sea, the same crew, and the same coastline with fewer boats around you.
The route. Staying within Turkish waters is straightforward and cost-effective. Extending into the Greek islands adds 10 to 20 percent to the total cost — permits, customs, and Greek port fees are all handled by us. Departure Ports: Fethiye, Gocek, Bodrum and Marmaris
Fethiye is our main base and one of the most naturally beautiful harbours on the Turkish coast. The sheltered Gocek Bay system — 12 islands within 50 to 60 nautical miles — makes it ideal for first-time Blue Cruise guests. Protected waters, extraordinary scenery, and direct access toward Rhodes and the southern Dodecanese.
Gocek sits 25 kilometres east of Fethiye and offers direct access to the same island system. A quieter, more upmarket marina town preferred by many returning guests. Charters head south toward Oludeniz and Butterfly Valley, or east into the Hisaronu Gulf.
Marmaris is the gateway to the Gulf of Gokova — one of the most spectacular sailing grounds on the Turkish coast. From Marmaris, the Greek island of Symi is less than 20 nautical miles away, making it the most convenient departure point for Turkey-Greece combination charters.
Bodrum is the most cosmopolitan of the four ports, with easy access to Kos — just 11 nautical miles across the channel. The classic Bodrum-Marmaris corridor is one of the most popular charter routes on the Turkish coast.
What Is Always Included
On every Albatros Yachting crewed charter, the following is included in the weekly price:
- The vessel, captain, and full crew — typically 3 to 5 people depending on vessel size
- All meals prepared daily by the onboard chef
- Standard non-alcoholic beverages
- Fuel for the agreed itinerary
- Turkish port fees and marina costs within Turkish waters
- Linen, towels, and daily cabin cleaning
The meal question matters more than most guests expect. Our chefs shop at local markets every morning, whether we are in Fethiye, Gocek, Marmaris, or Bodrum. We have had guests tell us the food on board was among the best they ate during their entire time in Turkey.
What is typically additional: alcoholic beverages, Greek island port fees if crossing, water sports equipment, airport transfers, and special provisioning requests.
The Per-Person Calculation
The most useful way to think about a gulet charter is cost per person per day, fully inclusive.
A well-specified gulet at 16,000 EUR for the week, shared among 12 guests, works out to 1,333 EUR per person for seven days — or 190 EUR per person per day, including accommodation, three meals prepared by a private chef, and crew service along one of the most beautiful coastlines in the Mediterranean.
Compare that to a hotel in Bodrum or Marmaris, restaurant meals three times a day, and daily boat excursions. The calculation usually surprises people.
When to Go
June is the best month for the experience across every departure port. Water is warm, anchorages are uncrowded, and prices are 20 to 30 percent below peak.
July and August are peak season. Higher prices, busier anchorages, more energy in the harbour towns. Some guests prefer it this way.
September is the choice of experienced Blue Cruise guests. Crowds thin after school holidays end. The sea stays warm. Some guests who have been coming to us since the 1990s book September exclusively.
May and October offer the lowest prices and the quietest waters on the entire Turkish coast.
A Note on Operators
Turkey has hundreds of charter companies. Many are brokers who list boats they have never visited and captains they have never met. A few, like us, own their fleet, maintain their own shipyard, and have been operating from the same addresses since 1995.

2026 Availability
